Appliance removal in Albuquerque

We go in, get the old appliance, take it out through the house and haul it away. You point at it. The quote is free.

What this covers

  • Refrigerators and freezers
  • Washing machines and dryers
  • Stoves, ovens and ranges
  • Dishwashers
  • Water heaters
  • More than one appliance on the same trip

What it does not

  • Disconnecting gas lines. A qualified technician does that part
  • Anything still holding food, laundry or water
  • Installing the new appliance

How an appliance job goes

Maybe the fridge died, the new washer comes Thursday, or the water heater let go in the garage. Tell us what it is, where it sits and what is between it and the street. That gives us what we need to quote it.

On the day, the crew protects the tight spots, walks the appliance out on a dolly, and straps it in the truck. We take it to the proper location for that kind of item. If you want to know where yours is going, ask.

When you do not need us

If you are a City of Albuquerque Solid Waste customer and can get it to the curb yourself, the free large item pickup is the cheapest way out. PNM customers with a working fridge or freezer can get a $75 check and free haul-away from the utility. A resaleable appliance may be worth a call to the ReStore. You will find all of those compared on our services page.

We are for the jobs those routes leave behind: it is down a hallway, up a step or in a basement, nobody at home can lift it, or it needs to be gone sooner than the next trash day.

Before the crew arrives

Empty it. Take out the food, the last load of towels and the racks you want to keep. Clear a path to the door, and put pets and kids somewhere else for a few minutes. If it is connected to gas or hard-wired, tell us on the phone so we can sort out what has to happen first.

What changes the quote

How many appliances

Two on one trip is a different job from one.

Where it sits

A garage beats a basement.

The path out

Stairs, tight turns and door widths.

What it is

A full-size fridge and a dishwasher are not the same lift.

Do I have to be home?
